Our mission is achieved through an awesome volunteer Board of Directors, quality small staff, dedicated volunteers, streamlined budget and creative financing. Vision Statement“Brand New Day Inc. will revitalize communities throughout the State of New Jersey by empowering residents, developing and preserving affordable housing and increasing home ownership and entrepreneurial opportunities” Programs and ServicesBrand New Day (BND) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community development corporation incorporated in 1985 by diverse members of the community and the Board and Executive Director of Elizabethport Presbyterian Center. Brand New Day (BND) provides programs and services that are in demand from individuals, families, renters, homeowners, micro-businesses and supporters of the low to moderate-income population. “From clean-up to revitalization and support services, BND’s ongoing efforts continue to restore hope and pride in one of Elizabeth’s oldest neighborhoods.” (Source: J. CHDO Designation:Brand New Day, Inc. is a CHDO for the State of New Jersey, Union County, Essex County, City of Elizabeth, the Township of Irvington, and the city of East Orange.
