Career Development ProgramBrand New Day provides financial literacy, job readiness, and entrepreneurship training to young adults between the ages of 16 and 21. The curricula used for this program are Making Cents International’s Work Out!, for job readiness Adkins Life Skills Program, and for financial literacy Merrill Lynch’s Investing Pays Off.
Additionally, participants will receive on the job training through work assignments at BND’s buildings in the area of landscaping, maintenance repair, professional cleaning and customer service. Brand New Day will work in partnership with a consultant and local businesses to provide an opportunity for participants to shadow professionals and eventually get hired in their field of trade. |
