Financial Literacy

Brand New Day provides free adult financial literacy throughout the entire calendar year. The curricula are FDIC’s Money Smart and Washington Mutual’s Financial Literacy Curriculum. In addition to in-house classes BND also identifies target groups to provide training to including, churches, masajid, Housing Authorities, senior citizen centers and other communities that register and assemble participants.

For many participants this eight hour course is the first step toward homeownership. Courses are administered in a one day fast track session and over a five week period. No fee is charged to the participant.
